Waidale 712-05 probably still the best southdown I have bred, amazing ram, grunty grunty grunty, great hindquarter, great depth, quick maturing, good bone, just a bloody good southdown. Not only has he been used extensively in the Southdowns, I have used him over my purebred South Suffolks, which is one of the reasons my south Suffolks are as good as you will get as I have put a cross of top southdown back into them, which has given them more meat and grunt, and then I have come back over with a South Suffolk, so I have rams for sale that half half, 3/4 and 7/8th, there may even be some 15/16ths this year (15/16th south suffolk, 1/16th southdown.

Rocklea 58-08 has bred well, the majority of this years ram hoggets are by him. He has bred well, great hind quarter, Has a foot score of 2.4 and cold tolerance of A.A

Rocklea 90-06 not a massive ram, but great muscling, probably best hindquartered south Suffolk ram in recent years, footrot profile of 1.1 and cold tolerance of A.A. He has bred well.
